Refund policy

Thank you for supporting 40rty Calling! We are committed to your satisfaction and gladly accept returns and exchanges that meet the following guidelines.  

Return Policy 

We accept returns within 30 days. Please note that the return window begins when the shipment is delivered per the tracking on your order. All return requests must be initiated within 30 days of this date. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. 

To start a return, you can initiate a self-service return from your account (see instructions below) or contact us for assistance at shop@40rtycalling.com with your order number or proof of purchase. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return through the self-service option or via email will not be accepted.

To initiate a self-service return or create a customer account for any other reason: 

1. Click the profile icon in the store's upper right navigation bar. 
2. Log in to your account: In the Email field, enter your email address, and then click Continue. Navigate to your email account, open the email sent from our store, and copy the six-digit verification code included in the email.
3. Return to the online store, and enter the six-digit verification code copied from your email.
4. Find the order that you want to submit the return for. If your order has more than one item, then select the items that you want to return. Select a return reason, and add a note for the store.
5. Click Request Return to submit your request.

Damage and Issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you have received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. You can notify us of any issues by emailing shop@40rtycalling.com with a description and/or picture of the issue.

If it is determined that there is an issue with your order on our part, a return authorization will be issued and customer will be sent an exchange of the same item if it is in stock. If the item is no longer in stock, customer will be able to exchange for an item(s) of equal value or lesser value or issued a refund for the original amount (or difference of the exchange value).  

Exceptions/Non-Returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, including items marked as FINAL SALE, custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal items (e.g., swimwear, undergarments, water bottles). Please review item description prior to purchase to determine return eligibility. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.

Exchanges

We accept exchanges within 30 days. Please note that the exchange window begins when the shipment is delivered per the tracking on your order. All exchange requests must be initiated within 30 days of this date. 

Exchange items must be received in their original, unworn and unused condition. All exchanges must be submitted by the purchaser or gift recipient. 

If you would like us to process an exchange, you must contact us for assistance at shop@40rtycalling.com with your order number or proof of purchase. Upon receipt, an exchange authorization form will be provided. Once approved, a confirmation email will be sent to you with instructions for sending items back to us. When we have received and inspected your returned items, your exchange will be processed and replacement product(s) shipped or refund issued (in the case that items are no longer in stock at time of submission of exchange authorization form). 

Items sent back to us without first requesting an exchange via email and completing the exchange authorization form will not be accepted.

Return/Exchange Shipping

Customer is responsible for cost of return shipping for returns and exchanges unless it is determined the return reason is due to an issue on our end. As we do not offer prepaid return labels, customer will have the option to use the carrier of their choice to ship items back to us. We recommend obtaining a tracking number for your shipment as we are not held liable for lost packages. 

Please note a 15% restocking fee will be applied to all returns. The restocking fee does not apply to returns or exchanges made due to damage, defect, or error on our end (e.g., you have received the wrong item or size). 

Please carefully read item descriptions and refer to sizing chart prior to purchase as we cannot refund shipping costs at this time for returns or exchanges due to sizing or other issues unrelated to damage or defect. 

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved. Once  approved, a refund (minus restocking fees) will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
